1. Introduction
HoodAGI ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Meher – AI Companion mobile application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency regarding how your data is collected, processed, and safeguarded.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account Credentials: Email, display name, and hashed password. If you authenticate with Google Sign-In, we receive your Google display name, email address, profile picture URI, and auth ID token.
- Preferences & Personas: Selected persona mood (Caring, Friendly, Flirty, etc.), relationship status, and language settings.
- Conversations: Chat prompts and dialogue exchange to generate responses.
AUDIO & MICROPHONE PRIVACY (Zero Cloud Audio Storage):
• The microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO) is used exclusively during real-time voice calls.
• On-Device Processing: Your spoken words are transcribed locally on your device via neural speech recognition (Sherpa-ONNX).
• No Audio Recordings Uploaded: Raw audio recordings are NEVER uploaded, stored, or sent to cloud servers. Only text transcripts are sent to generate AI replies.
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- FCM Token: Used to deliver push notification alerts from Meher.
- Device Diagnostics: OS version, phone model, and anonymous crash telemetry.
- Advertising ID: Google Advertising ID (GAID) accessed by Google AdMob for serving rewarded ads.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide real-time companion chat and voice conversations.
- To authenticate and manage your user account securely.
- To allocate rewarded ad bonuses (voice minutes and chat messages).
- To protect against abuse, fraud, and service disruption.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
- Disappearing Messages: When the 24-hour disappearing feature is enabled, messages are automatically removed from local and cloud storage after 24 hours.
- In-App Deletion: You can delete your account anytime in the app under Profile → Delete Account.
- Direct Deletion Request: You may also request complete erasure of your data by emailing privacy@hoodagi.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Requests are honored within 30 days.
6. Security Practices
All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS / TLS 1.2+. Sensitive device tokens and keys are encrypted in hardware-backed Android KeyStore storage (EncryptedSharedPreferences).
7. Age Requirement & Children's Privacy (16+)
This App is intended for users who are 16 years of age or older (Target Audience: 16–17 with parental/guardian guidance, and 18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 16.
Access to mature conversation personas (such as "Flirty" and "Toxic") requires explicit in-app age confirmation confirming the user is 16 years of age or older.
